More Summer Fun

trudi.jpgScott Surfing for the first timeRod - Last week I took surfing lessons from Pete on Tuesday and Thursday. I can’t say enough about Pete’s ability to teach the fine art of surfing. He was patient, informative and made me feel very comfortable while learning to accomplish one of my life-long dreams, SURFING! Attached are a few photos of my experience including one of my wife, Trudi after a successful shopping visit to Costa Azul in Laguna.

You have a great thing going and I’ll certainly be back to take advantage of everything Costa Azul has to offer us aspiring surfers!

Thanks!

Nick’s First Wave

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

Here is a nice testimonial of some summer time surf lesson fun here at Costa Azul!

Hey Rod,

You might remember me, I was in the shop two weeks ago to sign my son Mike up for his first surf lesson. To refresh your memory, we are from Arizona, and he had some skate experience. He had his lesson with Pete, and it went very well. He was riding a wave in about 20 minutes. I have some photos from the lesson that I thought I’d pass along to you. I know it might be helpful for ynick1stwave.jpgour website, or whatever, to show how effective lessons can be. We see you again next time we are in town.

Sincerely,

John Amandola, Jr.

Happy 4th of July it was!

Hope you were around to share the Great waves pulsing in out of the south for the last few days with warm water and hot sunshine that made for stellar days at the beach thus far in July. Some surf lessons had to be resheduled due to the abundance of swell but it’s always nice to have all the elements come together like their supposed to in summer. Hope it was a good one for you all as well.
Thanks to all our friends, family and customers that have made it great! Lets not forget the great BBQ and fireworks show from Main beach to Emerald Bay and Irvine Cove.
