Small surf = good surf lessons.

Friday, August 17th, 2007

Summer has been slamming in surf shop and at the beach but Without any real significant swell since July 4th we have had really some of the best days for learning one could ask for. Especially when you consider the beaches have been hot and sunny in the 80’s and ocean temps as high as 75 degrees.
Although it has been small there has been plenty of surf for inspired beginners and first timers to go out and get their foundation started.
Choosing the right tide and the right time of day is the key to maximizing smaller flat surf days. Avoiding the higher tides is helpful. With most days this time of year being in the mid tide range the are few times of the day that are going to be too low.
Feel free to call the shop if you have any questions.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and get ready for the Indian summer ahead!
More photos etc. coming soon time permitting.
