unknown1.jpgunknown.jpg HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

There have been some very large surf of late but Laguna has been mellow and clean in between some big hyped swells still allowing our comitted beginners to get out and do their lessons. Choosing right tide and and conditions are the key to having a good session.

Call the shop for an up to the minute report on local conditions or if you have any ?’s about lesson scheduling.

Solo Moroccan Surf Adventure…

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

rodcamel1.jpgcaught.jpg Not your typical destination but definitely worth the trip with so much coastline your chances of scoring are high. Just a matter knowing where and when to look. Little rough around the edges but hey it’s third world. Patience and an open mind are required especially if you do not speak French or Arabic.

Many things we take for granted are just not available or easily accomplished. Like having a cold beer in a cafe. Even making a phone call, posting a card, changing money, or just reconfirming a flight can be very difficult and trying.

Ironically while North America was getting slammed with massive swells so was Europe and North Africa.

Not a cushy trip but well worth the cultural and personal experiences and of course the surf.
